It is a great place, but it's becoming a rat race here now too. You'll see all the glossy brochure stuff later this year on the Olympic telecasts, but let me tell you, the traffic is bad, the pollution is getting really bad, and crime is on the up too. I grew up in Canberra (Australia's capital for those of you asking "where?") which is a little sanitised when compared to Sydney, so when I got here in '91, it was a bit of a culture shock.

I would say The Cross has changed markedly since 1971! You've gotta get back here before it totally goes down the toilet - there's still some great places here! Like I said, if any of you are in the neighbourhood, look me up first and I'll show you the town! Might even get to Williamstown to see some F/A-18 and Hawk 100 action too! It's only 2 hours north.
