Andre Kings Cross is a shit-hole (pardon the French)! I used to live near there (in 'Woolloomooloo' believe it or not), and I had to walk through 'The Cross' each day to work. Hated being accosted for money or offered sex all the time, hated dodging syringes on he ground, and hated being mugged even more! I now live in the western suburbs of Sydney in an area called Castle Hill. Much nicer neighbourhood, and far enough away from Kings Cross too. Alot of people compare Kings Cross with London's Soho, but at least Soho has a bit of character, some nice theatres, and some great pubs and nightclubs (spent alot of time there in '93 back in my younger pre-married days!). Keep a close eye on that NASA site - it looks like it's updated daily. Magoo
