BTW, Groom Lake, like all DoD bases and installations, has been "churched up" since the third quarter of 1999 about security, both physical and info. technology.
Everything from foot and vehicle traffic, to EMF radiation, network and comm traffic, to off-base behavior is being scrutinized by DoD and command. Most USAF bases are required to post their alert status in clear view at guard posts on main gates.
Information from civilian and military employees will be harder and harder to come by, as DoD is spending money by the truckloads on snooper technology aimed at its own people.
DIA, NSA, OSI, Security Forces, OFI, even Sam's regular QC and QAE folks are getting new tools every day, not only to detect leaks and intrusion, but to peek and poke where they couldn't before.
Cult of the Dead Cow has nothing on Uncle Sam.
