I completely understand the attraction of watching the Night time flying, you gotta be in the right places one of the most vivid memorys I have though is sitting at the end of Biggin Hill Runway with the old I saw the SR71's last flight out of Mildenhall from the road, that was a sad moment too. But the most moving still is the Battle of Britain Memorial flight, Lancaster, spitfire & hurricane.
Well Devons not so bad, do you get much of the coastal patrol stuff down there?
I used to see alot whilst up at Manston F-111's F-15s going up & down the coast,
though nowadays... same as the Low level stuff used to get out & about round Breacon & saw some great low level Tornado stuff
but they have cut back on that now.
Vulcan screaming overhead, still think that Aircrafts one of the greatest.
dont start me off I'll be here all day *L*
