What I meant was...it's pretty cold for us to actually be out there at night. But,typically there does not seem there's much activity there Friday nights anyway. (At least the times we've been there).Early last week would've been good to view the Red Flag exercises from Nellis. There was only one time so far we saw anything "unusual"..It was July last year. Four of us saw the same object bouncing around over the hills of Groom. Even one of us who is pretty well versed on aircraft could not figure it out. Most of the time we have seen night exercises utililizing flares. It's a fascinating show. BTW...many folks in the past have seen those flares and have mistaken them for "UFO's" Of course, they didn't know what they were so to them they were unidentified.
