Too bad indeed. So what do you think will happen at NASA following these stuf ups? Following Challenger, the scrutiny really fell on the contractors and NASA's oversight of them. But this time round, it's pure NASA with no one else to blame.

I can't help feel that the whole organisation needs a good flush out. Perhaps they should look at getting back to the basics of Aeronautical and Space research and operations, and perhaps even look at partly privatising so that a little accountability can creep back in, and the bureaucrats can be partly cut out.
