I read the story when he first uploaded it a few years ago, its a very good story.
A friend has also found the very first protoype crashes of the U-2's...out and in to Groom aswell as most other major crash sites in nevada and ON Edwards AFB and the surrounding Restrcited Areas.
He is an Aircraft archeologist and works for Dryden...the place to be.

The search for the A-12 was a damn good feat...
Others have been found by the person i just mentioned and he was also involved in the search for this particular aircraft aswell helping Tom Mahood.
