You should think about the fact they use this strip and the tanks/planes around it for targets! You would have to be careful...could be some live ammo still sitting around...if you went out during a flag or AW exercise you could end up a target yourself. The base IS IN the restricted area. Restricted is restricted...even if there were different levels it is still off limits to you. I'm sure if you were caught out there they would assume the worst...no matter what you told them they would think you were just a Area 51 nut lookin for a back door to TTR or Dreamland. If you look at the map on Mahoods site (the route they took when they flew around the area) they lable where they saw the Korean airfield...that should give ya a idea where to look on Topo maps n' stuff...but I doubt it would be labled on any Topo map.
