51/NTS infiltration questions...ctxt

OK, I realize that this subject has arisen before...However, here is a hypothetical scenario to ponder..What would happen if a person wandered into 51 from some obscure location with only the orange "poles" to delineate the border? In other words, her was camping on public land in the desert and was nowhere near any road or gate entrance. If caught, he would probably be arrested, but if there was no signs, fences or gates at the place he ENTERED, then it would seem that it would be an easily beatable case in court. He could truthfully say he had no idea it was a secure site because it was not posted..Has this ever happened? Realistically, how many folks are arrested every year out there for trespassing? I would say that along the northern border and the portion that is shared with TTR and NTS would be more easily just walked across without even knowing exactly where you were at,(GPS aside). There is NO WAY that the security is anywhere close to being tight enough to keep a dedicated individual out of either area. Sure, cammos and sensors are all over the gates and roads, but the other 450 miles of border just cannot be that secure. Once again, they have FLIR and motion detectors, etc..But probably only in the popular, sensitive areas. Opinions, comments? Sevensteps
