By the look of a couple of them up close, they don't look like they're all in fantastic physical shape. I actually got out of my car and walked up to the back gate once and a "dude" with a pot belly, smoking a cigarette greeted me.
As Joerg mentioned, they do get annoyed. One time we were standing outside our cars along GL RD about a quarter of a mile from the signs. We we surprised with a worker driving by leaving us with dust. He must have been going 60 miles an hour.
I honestly think they get a kick out of some of the "toursists", althought they certainly have to take their jobs seriously. If any of you dudes are reading this, how about an interview?
