Actually I took both, and all I picked up, although I was less than 30 feet from the VOR transmitter was a brief flash of 495.956 MHz on the counter. Thats close to 496.25 of their ground sensors. I may have tripped one, since immediately afterwards the first security truck showed up.
While they were following my truck, less than 200 feet back, nothing either.
