I think you were redundant when you said "Fox TV" and "cartoon". Actually most Fox programming makes the movie "Howard The Duck" look believable. Hey, Murdock is an Aussie Millionare, what does he know about American culture. The theory of radioactivity mutating creatures has been around since the fifties (remember James Whitmore getting crushed in the pinchers of a mutated giant ant in "Them"?). With the highlight of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" that was thankfully allowed to die a commercial death, the whole idea still has not run it's course. Since I work in Nuclear Power, I can tell you excessive radiation doses come much less from theatrical sources and more from dental X-rays and Phosphate mines. Not to worry, if giant mutant Armadillos are found, the government has plans to build giant Ford F-150 pickups with Texas plates to run them over.
