What you are looking at is the old McDonnell Douglas
Gray Butte RCS site. Now closed down, as I understand it,
and sold to the guys who were flying drones out of nearby
El Mirage (General Atomics, I think). I presume they
acquired it for the nice runways it has. It was originally
a WW II aircraft training field.
