I believe the show you're referring to is called "Alien Secrets: Area 51" and was hosted by Bruce Burgess (I think he's English). It originally aired
in 1996 and an updated version was showed early last
year. The Discovery Channel (and Learning Channel)
repeat shows often, so keep an eye out for it.
