Why do you find it hard to believe that he could walk up to a NTS building without being seen? I think that it would be easy at night.
I find it hard to believe that near the location of Cane Spring he said security was all over the place. A couple of guys patrolling the area should be sufficient. If they have that many guys around there, they have little confidence in the perimeter security.
He never did mention the of canteens/capacity he was carrying. However, in the photo of him he has two one quart canteens visible. He might have a couple more on the back. He started full, drank water and filled canteens at Cane Spring. Drank water and filled canteens at the NTS building. That is 6-12 quarts from canteens and 3-4 quarts he swigged on location. If I figured correctly that is 4 gallons at the most in seven days. I don't think so. The buzzards should be circling.
