One thing i believe which is being tested at groom is a silent jet engine.
On my recent trip out there this summer i was driving back to vegas when i noticed a fighter aircraft flying extremely low skirting the mountaintops in the tikaboo valley area.
I pulled over quick to the side of the road shut the engine off hopped out of the car and the fighter was completly quiet absolutely no noise just like a glider.
