I eagerly await your results from Tikaboo. I don't doubt that my results can be improved upon and I think the only practical way to do it is likely eyepiece projection. I can't imagine using a 6-second exposure time, though. I began to experience loss of sharpness with the SFX at anything slower than about 1/250th of a second. I agree with Joerg that if you're going to go for it you have to go all the way and sleep on Tikaboo the night before. Morning light is very important. Chuck Clark's results from Freedom Ridge at 12 miles distance are quite impressive. I've wondered whether my setup would have produced such results at that distance and judging from my photos of TTR, I'm not sure that it would have. Perhaps he could be of assistance.
