Will do. This is certainly the lowest hassle and cheapest technique. A small 3.5 inch reflector should do well at the TTR, but you probably need something larger to do Tikaboo justice.

Trying to do these kinds of photos yourself makes you appreciate how much work went into the photos on desertsecrets. A 3.5inch reflector can fit in backpack, but hiking up Tikaboo with an 8inch reflector is another story.

Early in the morning on Tikaboo? It took me 2 hours to get to the false summit. I can see how the many people need 3 hours to get to the peak, and I'll probably need a bit more. Maybe with luck I could make it to the top by 10AM if I start at 6AM.

BTW, Air Force Two should be showing up Tuesaday at Moffet. Here is a photo of Air Force One at Moffet I took about a year ago:
