The underground tests of Faultless and others were conducted as part of the Centra Nevada Test Site.
Faultless was a large explosion.

Gary,
you can visit many nuke sites and not get contaminated.
Take Sedan crater for example inside the NTS and of course Faultless which they have a dedicated place to view.
