Well, what makes this VOR interesting is the fact that it is not turned on all the time. On several occasions (at all times of the day) earlier this year I came by and it was not on. On my last visit it was on, clear as a bell.
Now, if it is in fact used by civilian air traffic, you would think that it has to be on all the time. Or am I missing something here?
