I'm experimenting with MP3 and put a Tonopah Test Range recording I made in early August on my website as a hidden link. Go here, download the file, and play it with the windows media player. It took me 7 minutes to download the file on a 56k modem: http://www.lazygranch.com/sound/ttr1.mp3 The recording was done on a RaveMP MP2100 digital recorder, edited on a PC using SuperSonic, and converted to MP3 using ACMstation. The scanner was a Sony ICFSC1PC. The scanning location was 13 miles from the Tonopah Test Range.
