If there is no repeater service, I may make it a project to put one up. I have a few GE Mastr (sic) II radios I got from the CHP that can be converter to repeater use. [I am frequently reminded by a person who saw me buy the radios that I never got around to doing the conversion.] I did a quick survey and found a spot that would cover the area at N38 04 46.4 W115 44 18.2. The location has a road (of course who knows what condition the road is in) and is at 10k ft, which means the hike up Tikaboo might be covered. It may work at the TTR Brainwash Butte as well.

How many reader of this list are licensed or would get a HAM license if there was a repeater available.
