Hi Richard, reading your various replies you seem to have an extensive knowledge on the base and related matter, so please excuse the ignorance. I have however been wondering, if all that is been done at the base is testing new military hardware why all the extra security measures? They have obviously relalised by now there is a large public following, why not just pack it all up and move elsewhere? Surely there is more to the base.
