Re Helo,the train of thought was that the reason the
aircraft was removed to Nellis ? was because local repair was not possible,could it be that it was partly dismantled then the airframe or other major part was damaged,heavy landing or other.The aircraft is then to have final assembly on return to it's base.Well just an idea.
