I guess Keith meant left on the photo. You are correct, coming from Hwy 375, travelling west on Cedar Road, you go straight (following the paved road) to get to the Cedar Gate guard shack. If you turn left there, going south, you come to a locked gate, and the usual warning signs. Once you get the range chart it will all make a lot more sense.
The good news is that in that area there is actually a fence marking the perimeter. The bad news is that the Cedar Gate guard shack and the barrier are several hundred feet inside the restricted area. If you don't watch out for the fence, which does not have a gate on Cedar Road, and drive up to the guard shack you are technically violating the restricted area.
