Paul

you are certainly right there.
Theres always going to be alien watchers at Groom Lake hoping for aliens which they will never see.
Theres also going to be people who believe in the other stuff at the border.
And theres also going to be people like us who spend out time searching for the real reason the base is actually there.....Black Budget aircraft testing....

Probably 99% of all sightings of weird lights and objects can 'probably' be traced back to the aircraft from groom lake or Nellis based movers doing their training.
There are STILL people out there who get hyped up about seeing a UFO when all they see is flares being dispensed and they still will not believe its a flare.
Most of them, if they actually viewed night time training would then get the message....probably after a few years of convincing.
Those of you who have gone on the trips to tikaboo and rachel at night will know what im talking about....Flares, reheating(afterburners), etc etc.
dont forget,, some aircraft do sorties without lighting...its a standard training practice here in the UK for some major exercises...no lighting, not even navigation and anti-collision lights. this is always produced on to the NOTAMs so other pilots know they will not be using lights.
If you read the notams for the area around Nellis youll see some i expect.
When they fly without lights you can still see some glowing strips of light on the aircraft, which people also mistake for UFO;s.
The glowing strips...in various visually tactical locations enable other pilots to see the other aircraft when in formation.
these strips are 'glow in the dark' and may be the cause of some sightings also.
