Thanks, I'm glad that you like the new pics.
Most of the pictures were taken with my trusty Canon EOS-1000 with a 35-80 mm zoom lens and 200 speed film. For some shots I used a 600mm tele, and for some, including the Bald Mtn. shots and the Guard Shack closeup, I used a technique that I have developed to shoot through my 10x50 binoculars. Gets you closer than any fancy tele, but only about 1 out of 10 shots turns out ok.
For post processing I use an Acer 300dpi scanner that I picked up at CompUSA for $29(!), after mail in rebate.
The scanned images are then enhanced for lighting, sharpness and other effects using PaintShop Pro 5.03.
I am currently looking to buy a used Celestron C-90 (1000mm/f11 with T-adapter)or similar, if I can find a good deal.
