Just watched the Discovery Channel's show on Area 51 for the 4th or 5th time, and on it there was a shot of Area 51 from the north. I know that Reveille Peak is a good place to view Area 51 (see www.desertsecrets.com), however that hike appears to be incredibly strenuous. While reading the "Dreamland Chronicles" a couple months back, I remember that one of the guys Darlington interviewed said something like "Even though Freedom Ridge and White Sides were taken away, Glenn and I still know of a place where we can still see Area 51 on public land." He proceeded to mention that this vantage point was off the back gate road, and that base security sent up a helicopter to look for them but couldn't find them for something like 4 hours. Was this guy telling a lie? Crazymaler
