Restricted Airspace

Of course we all know that the entire Nellis Range is in restricted airspace, but as seen in recent posts here, commercial airlines, presumably flying at greater than 30,000 ft can fly in the restricted airspace and see Groom Lake? Or perhaps there were just north of the Range?

Joerg, what flight were you on when the pilot said that Area 51 was to the south? What airline was it, and from where did it originate and what was its destination? Thanks.
