Yes, on some nights it appears that you can see a very faint glow over where Area 51 is. Especially from up by the Powerlines Overlook (see our [More Info&Photos] section).
On nights with a low cloud cover, you can sometimes see the beacon at the north end of the base go around in the sky. From the gravel area by mile marker 32.3, look just left of White Sides.
