Magoo, Thanks for the info. I'll be writing a trip report shortly. In addition to the Tikaboo trip, there were some other interesting things beforehand that Andre already alluded to in his earlier post. Off the subject, one of our local radio talk show hosts broadcasted from in Inn last night, and of course we had to put in our two cents worth. It was interesting listening to some of the folks giving their so called expert, in the know, nformation on the base. One gentlemen said all the activities at Groom are done only by outside contractors and the government does not have anything to do with it. HMMM.
He was really getting others upset. he claimed he worked there in the past and there was no testing done on aircraft/aerial related projects. I think he would've been surprised if he saw what we saw on the runway.
