I wonder whether the modified inlet had any effect on the F-16's radar cross section, and if so, whether the new inlet design was considered for late-production F-16s and possible retro-fitting to existing aircraft.

The F-16 isn't the stealthiest aircraft in the sky, especially from head-on with that gaping inlet and large bubble canopy.
