Just an FYI, both the Nellis and Edwards airshows are banning backpacks. Last year Nellis had this rule but didn't enforce it, however Edwards did. Anyway, those thinking of attending either show might want to look for a BAFP (big ass fanny pack). Nellis worked me over with a metal detector like that guy in "spinal tap".

The other oddity is you can't bring the bag for your folding chair. Edwards enforced this last year.

Regarding bringing water, the air force provides water, so just bring one bottle that you can refill as needed.
