I do have a scanner, and figured it might be a good idea but wasn't sure. We're relatively new to stuff like this so weren't sure if they would be freqs that are secure/unknown, but now that I know they are attainable I'll make sure to pack it. I noticed on the Rachel, NV site it mentioned "Campfire Hill." Is this something attainable by a regular vehicle/any special apart from the rest of the places to camp?

As can be expected we're both quite excited about traveling and thinking of expanding the trip to Oct 3/4/5 just to get more time in.
