I believe the plane you may be thinking of is the Su-37, which is an extremely modified version of the Flanker series (Su-27,30,35). I am almost positive it is the one in the video clip you describe. It has 2-D thrust vectoring (NOT 3-D as some believe), and has impressive maneuverability. However, I'll be more impressed when they can produce more than a couple of prototypes. The Raptor is going into full production, so I take it a little more seriously. Just my opinion - your mileage may vary.
