The original story about Roswell was that the supposed "wreckage" and "bodies" were taken to Wright-Patterson AFB, not Area 51, which of course didn't exist in 1947. This is also where the Hangar 18 legend began - the place where the items were supposedly stored at Wright-Pat. I think the fact that there is a Hangar number 18 at Groom has confused many people who have subsequently combined the two places. I think this may explain the reference to Area 51 in this "MJ-12 document", and for me at least, opens a big hole in its credibility. Not knowing simple facts (such as where the real Hangar 18 is) makes the document a hoax, and a poorly researched hoax at that.

No offense intended - the facts just don't add up for me. I do believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life, and I do believe the government would try to conceal any evidence they have of it. But this isn't it.
