Very interesting comments on the story I posted the link to. They would be even more interesting if the posters could lay aside their biases and actually read the article. Nowhere in this article do you find the word "alien" or reference to UFO's. What you do find are people using established protocols and scientific procedures to investigate something very unusual. The picture of the tree with scarred bark is significant as it is part of the story reported by the man who watched the circle being formed. But you wouldn't know that unless you read the story. It is part of what the retired trucker saw; not lights, not craft, not UFO's. In science and the law that is called corroborating EVIDENCE to support the testimony of a witness, testimony which is also regarded as EVIDENCE. We will always, it seems, have to deal with the witty and witless comments of cynics. But if you truly have an open mind, read the article. The crop circle investigators are also following up on the military helicopter and personnel to see if, as 1 commented on this board, they are just some reservists just goofing around. Reservists who have that much time on their hands should be concerned about rotated to Iraq!
