If you have monitored Red Flag much, you hear them refer to the Student Gap, which is Pahroc Summit Gap. I found it on the topo at N37.61805 W115.00025. Tom Mahood's website mentions this as part of the Red Flag
defenders route. When parked out at Coyote Summit, I've seen planes come through a gap which I thought was the Student Gap, but now realize that the Student Gap is too far away for a small fighter to be spotted. I think the gap seen from Coyote Summit may be at N37.59333 W115.52922. Comments? I'd like to try a few new view spots for the upcoming Red Flag.
