Areas of Focus

In the middle of the on-going "discussion" about Area 51, what is going on there and how can the public learn what is going on there, may I make 3 suggestions based at least in part on the recently aired documentary, "Out of the Blue."
First, does anyone reading posts on this Board have any news about the activities of the Disclosure Project? This is the campaign in Congress to pass legislation to protect from prosecution anyone bound by a non-disclosure oath taken in the past, who can give first hand testimony about US government involvement with aliens. "Out of the Blue" had many scenes of primarily military veterans, including 2 former astronauts, describing their first hand contact with folks from way out of town. This would be 1 place to focus one's energy on.
A second would be to pressure the US press for stories on the Cometa Report published in France in 1999. This was a report prepared by a committee of people from the top military, scientific and intelligence organizations in France about UFO's and any threat to Earth they may represent. It presents a brief review of the evidence that exists on UFO's and should forever move the discussion on UFO's beyond "are they real?" if one truly has an open mind on the subject. These people conclude they do indeed exist. The US press up to this point has totally ignored this report.
Thirdly, a little speculation about UFO's and their relationship to Area 51. "Out of the Blue" describes the history of UFO sightings and some aggressive acts towards US military equipment and facilities. What if UFO sightings near and around Area 51 are just on-going monitoring of our military technology and nothing more? Or perhaps monitoring of areas exposed to radiation in the past? To me these are areas to focus the considerable energy and intellect displayed in recent posts on rather than flailing away over dirt roads.
