The catch is that there is no place at Plant 42 where a SR-71 and U-2 would be side by side! There is: 2. Infront of the Lockheed Plant: There used to be an A-12 and a U-2 out there, but no B-2. (The A-12 was moved in Feb 2000, the U-2 in June of last year IIRC) 3. Lockheed does have the an A-12 trainer out there, but it is all wrapped up, and why the B-2. I suppose this would allow for the sighting, but the author didn't say that the A-12 was white did he? So far... it doesn't add up.
1. Blackbird airpark (2 blackbirds, and a U-2). Of note: there is a B-2 model out there on a stick. (http://www.letsgoseeit.com/index/county/la/antelope/loc02/heritage02_8in_30.jpg)
