Well like I said it was nothing new. I dare say the US have been playing with hypersonic concepts for probably twenty or more years.

As Rumsfeld ruled out any further B-2 purchases, because "The B-2 is too slow". It's no wonder hpersonic strike platforms (probably unmanned) are the future!
