The Aussie and Canadian C-130 Hercules' used Mellan during Red Flag in August last year. They were tasked to ingress the range from the north-east behind the SEAD, strike and counter air jets, complete an airdrop over or near the airfield, then land and collect previously dropped packages during a quick engine running turnaround. Exciting stuff I'm told!
