We weren't on groom lake road... we were between that road and lil ale inn... the road was approximately 8 feet wide (if that)- loaded the whole way with huge rocks...lots of curves and hills...we figured this must of been an old back road. (?) It's NOT listed on any map we can come up with. We saw plenty of sensors and cameras along the way...and yes, we're definately bringing a truck vs small rental car next trip. Due to the tire exploding, we never got to go down groom lake road...will be an adventure/overnighter next time.
