I agree with you both. There is something "not right" about selling off debris from a fatal crash. Wouldn't the XB-70 crash site be protected like the space shuttle? Here in Texas, people were getting arrested left and right trying to keep shuttle debris. I would think the same law(s) would apply to the XB-70. What a neat looking bird it was, though.
