Gary is absolutely correct, and points out the one thing that most 'gun nuts' don't want to recognize: That Gun ownership was - and is - supposed to be restricted to a 'well regulated militia'... As for my commnets on the USMC: I agree 100% with Gary. Nothing is more dangerous then the 'Military' becoming involved with civilian authorities. I was trying to show - and obviously failed - that the USMC serves part of the purpose of keeping the OTHER MILITRAY FORCES from supporting/becoming a tyranny. they do not - and should not - have any legal or maoral right to interfere with civilian policing matters...
