I knew the two original prototypes had been grounded. That's why I think he was suggesting the YF-23 design has been developed or adapted into another platform.

The design was certainly the more radical of the two ATF contenders, and from all reports, the aircraft was longer ranging, faster and theoretically able to carry a bigger load.
