As for RCS features, the Boeing entry had MUCH to prove on how they were going to mask that HUGE fan via their shark’s mouth. Nothing was designed only a written paper on how they were to achieve this.

As for the YF-23, I thought the primary reason Lockheed’s version was picked were increased maneuverability vs. the 23 not for RCS reasons.

Still, I would love to have seen the YF-23 built as a light bomber. What an incredible platform it is.
