good news regarding joe travis, turns out his stomach cancer was scar tissue from ulcers and caused some kind of blockage. Accroding to chris, joe's son in law.
soo all is well I called up there yesterday. Joe is a great guy and he has lot good ol'e american wisdom. badly needed in these time's w/o joe and pat and the little aleinn it would be rough up there hey it's not the hilton and but definitly better then a motel six where else can one be thirty minutes from mailbox to watch for things in the sky! and have a place to rest and a restaurant with some pretty good food too boot.
