While the current threat is such that the Aurora may not necessarily be needed, we can never stop looking forward in the future of our defense. We are a strong country because of our foresight; one can never know what threats may lie ahead in the future. To not plan for the unknown would be a tragic mistake.

As for whether or not the Aurora exists, just keep watching the skies over Groom; you'll figure it out sooner or later! ;-)
