Or if you're coming from Las Vegas, stay on I-15 past Moapa/Glendale about 10 miles to the Carp/Elgin exit. (Not shown on the official Nevada roadmap.) Go north a few yards and take the old roadbed that parallel's the hiway east for a few miles and then turns into a good dirt road north that skirts the east side of the Morman's. After you get over the low pass and into the Thule desert you'll need a good topo map. Lot's of roads head out in all directions.
